Well I have had the Gibson shorty stainless headers on for five years now and all is well, a bit of a pita to install some of the header bolts but other than that great product, get this same gaskets have been reused four times and still seal great, no problems with the bolts backing out either.

Sorry guys for being argumentative... I haven't been feeling the best lately, I don't wanna argue either so please forgive me...

Hahns5.2 That is correct. They have to be out of a different engine. And to the OP, I do not appreciate you telling me to get my e-dick out of your thread. There are far better ways to say things. Besides, who has a e-dick???????? :P... At any rate I have forgiven you...

Dealer, but, they will want an arm and a leg.

Parts store? Prolly reman parts, therefore, undersize journals. (important when getting bearings.)

Jegs, Summit, or a host of other aftermarket parts companies.

Junk yard? Get a rebuildable core, score the parts you need. Give 'em to a machine shop to verify they are good.
