Also, anyone know about some good shorty headers that will go into the stock exhaust?

 

Well I have had the Gibson shorty stainless headers on for five years now and all is well, a bit of a pita to install some of the header bolts but other than that great product, get this same gaskets have been reused four times and still seal great, no problems with the bolts backing out either.

 

...that darn merc and cams he's good people.

Dealer, but, they will want an arm and a leg.

Parts store? Prolly reman parts, therefore, undersize journals. (important when getting bearings.)

Jegs, Summit, or a host of other aftermarket parts companies.

Junk yard? Get a rebuildable core, score the parts you need. Give 'em to a machine shop to verify they are good.
