Default Problems starting

I have a 95 dodge 1500 and I just replaced the water pump and now it won't start again. I have tried everything that I can think of. If anyone has any ideas I would like to hear them. Thanks.

The only thing that I can offer is to check all of the wiring. You had to move a bunch of it when you installed the new pump. Then there is the odd chance that your battery went south. Take it and have it load tested at one of the supply houses eg. Advance, Auto Zone.

Make sure you didn't disconnect or damage the coolant temp sensor... critical to the fueling/starting process.

What is it not doing? Does the engine turn over, just not fire? Or does it not do anything at all?? Got lights and such on the dash??

Ok I will check the wireing again and see about the temp sensor.

It turns over and I have power to everything but it just keeps turning over and that's it.

i guess you damage the ignition coil primary wires, it is very close to the water pump, see if you have sparks coming out of the plug.

Yea that was the first thing we were going to check. But I don't think there is any because there's no exhaust coming out.

verify all this:
injector wiring connected. all 8 of them.
gas line connected to intake.
all alternator wiring connected.
grounds on PS bracket connected.
temp gauge connected.
air intake sensor connected.
iac connected on back of throttle body.
tps connected on drivers side of throttle body.
make sure the small cam position sensor wiring at the back of the intake, going to the distributor, is not pinched under the intake.
coil wiring still connected. large and small wire.
plug wires still connected.

fuel pump coming on for 1-2 seconds at ignition on.
fuel pressure present at the test port. put out cigarette...
spark at one of the spark plugs.

try spraying some starting fluid down the TB.

Thanks for all the help and input. I figured it out replaced the coolant temp sensor and disconected all the wires and reconnected them and it fired right up.
