Default Exhaust is putting

I have a 97 Dodge Ram 1500 v8 5.2L. I got my cat replaced around 3 months ago, and the truck was running great. Shes got 175k on her and now at times when i accelerate, the exhaust is putting. I have to let her warm up for about 10 minutes before i drive. When i start up first thing in the morning, i hear a rattle from underneath, i have not had the opportunity to get under and check it out but it sounds like its coming from the cat. Almost like the exhaust is loose. Any suggestions for what the putting in the exhaust is all about?

Thanks

See if you can find where the rattle is coming from. If you haven't fixed your plenum, real possibility your new cat is toast.

Rattling is probably just the cat heat shield. Take a punch to it and it'll stop.
