And once again he was running wheels with a different offset.

Anybody notice in ChillyPhil's sig that he has spacers on??? With them he may clear w/o rubbing, however, knowing the BACKSPACING is still prudent.

I don't spacers are a good idea other than street use in my general opinion.

Plus his is the Off-Road edition Ram, so it sits approx. 2 inches higher than normal ones. So he has like a 4 inch lift if it weren't an Off-Road.

No its not, look at the tailgate. Although you are correct about the off roads sitting about 2 inches higher. If he had the offroad edition plus the 2" leveling kit, then he could clear the 35s no problem, assuming the backspacing on the rims is sufficient

FWIW I run 35's on an 8 inch rim with 3.75" BS with 5" lift and I've got loads of space at full lock even with fenderwell covers. Don't take my word for it but I think with 3" and a bit of trimming you could cut it. Go measure the BS.

Chilly has a 96, no such thing existed back then.

Yeah i have wheel spacers on right now but i didn't want to use them if i got the 35s because it would put my tire way too far out of my fenders and I know spacers aren't good for taking offroad.

I wish there was a way to figure out the offset of the wheels i posted because i asked the guy and he said there wasn't any offset numbers on the wheel. He said i should be fine but I'm still unsure. I know i would probably have to take my running boards off because it'll rub them for sure.

But Danny's only has that 2" lift all around on and I have the 2.5" in front and i want them 4" blocks for the rear. I just don't know what his offset is.

Well I think it was Merc who posted how to measure for the offset...Do that or ask the seller to do it.

Measure from the mounting surface, to the outer edge of the rim. Not hard to do.

With only 2" of lift, with mild street driving, you might be ok. Take it off-road though, and you WILL rub. You need more lift, or some body mods to clear 35's.

Danny has an Off-Road edition truck. He starts out 2" higher than you already, plus the additional 2" he put on there is 4" total lift. Which is still kinda tight when you flex it out.
