Just got back from short trip, shut off truck, and when I got out, I heard what sounds like fuel gurgling back to tank. Is this any help?

don't waste money on a gas cap.
skip down to the pictures, and how to tilt down your evap canister, then replace your split and rotted hoses.

2 days an counting, found elbow split on hose between canisters. Keepin fingers X. Thanks

that was your problem. i had same things evap hoses on top of canister 1 1/2 years no return.
