Is there an easy way to see the numbers on the pcm? I heard people trying to get pictures with cameras down there.

You'll like it
Well, 1 is more than 0mpg increase haha. I just want to run it on 87 octane because i get 93 octane for my fourwheeler and that even gets too expensive at times. I might put some 91 octane in it once in a while but not a full tank of it. I might mix alittle with 87 octane if my paycheck allows it.

87,91, and 93 are the 3 tunes that hemifever puts on aren't they? And is there anything else i should know before getting this tuner?

I just installed mine yesterday and I noticed a huge improvement over stock. I ran the 87 program until I needed to fuel up then I ran the 91 program and to my surprise I spun the tires. Kinda crazy considering they are 33's.

If I can manage to keep my foot out of it Im sure my gas mileage would increase but its really hard not to want to go fast now lol.

Im also running the 180 tstat and have been since I did the plenum fix. No adverse affects, just lower temp which is good for towing as it likes to get a bit warm, and coming up the cajon pass here in socal. Still need to change my timing chain and install the autolite plugs I just bought, should be much better after that.

Get it, you wont regret it.

EDIT: My heater works like a champ still with the 180 tstat. Gets ridiculously hot which is good lol.
I was a little worried about what it would take to install the tune, but all you do is plug the tuner into your OBD port and follow the instructions. Took less than 5 minutes. I changed from 87 to 91 octane at the gas station as I was filling up with 91. EASY!!

Alright.

I'm going to change to a 180 when I do my timing chain. I live in Texas anyway, and it get's hot down here.

Does everyone seriously have that many problems spinning tires?? I even have the death flash and can do it no problem.. Just buy the tuner and use it.. You wont see any improvement in mpg cause you probably wont be able to keep your foot out of it.

Ill tell you I did. Then again I never really tried to. I took off as I normally do and the tires spun. To me thats impressive. The biggest noticeable change for me was the highway driving.

Yeah, i dont understand. I could break mine loose with half grenaded motor and 32s...

Anyway, I ran a 180 in my ZJ and it made no difference in the heat. I could dog it a lot more and have it not overheat :]
The I6 ZJs use a 195 stat also.

My thoughts exactly with a blown plenum and 35's i can still roast the tires no issues.... You will love the tuner phil, really wakes these motors up! Mine has an 89 octane tune, 91 octane tune and 91 octane tow tune.
