When I had my plenum done, I had the ebay plate installed, a new upper rad. hose and bypass hose and it ran me $562 for the work, plus $55 or something for the plenum plate.

Dude that did mine knows his stuff! I will be going back when I have the cash and get the timing set and cover done. Great thing is, I could ride my bike to the shop and back.

Yes, you can swap the tunes back and forth on the same truck. Try different tunes and octanes to see what works best for you.

My V10 had the death flash and was a dog till I flashed it. Just flashing to the 87 tune made a big difference. I usually run the 93 tune, but the winter blend fuel around here is causing it to ping too much so I flashed back to the 91 tune till spring. I can tell the difference between all three tunes just by the way the truck takes off.

what do you mean by pinging and how do you diagnose that, never really understood the term to know how to use it?

It sounds like marbles in a can when you put your boot in it.

Common sound when your plenum is blown.

You should do the plenum and timing set first. Then seafoam the hell out of it, then replace the cat and 02's. Hell, I don't remember how the front seal is replaced but you might be able to do that when you're doing the timing set.

You wanna get as much done at the same time as you can. lol Saves headaches later.

Oh, and having an 01 is automatic Deathflash.

I have a superchips tuner for (I believe 94)-01 5.2 and 5.9 Dodges and covers Jeeps too. It was a noticeable difference in shifting( smoother than stock), gas gauge doesn't move as much as I can keep it 250 rpm's lower goin down the road over stock, and there's a little more kick when I give her gas. I'd really like to get an SCT later after I get other things done and have saved up more cash since thats been tight for some time now. After getting my SCT I'd be willing to sell my Superchips if anyone is interested when that time comes.

Hopefully I get this ordered Friday If not Saturday! I would like for hemifever to do stuff to the 93 tune but I doubt I can afford 93 octane. I think I'll be able to afford 91 so I think I'll get the 87 and 91 tune done alittle more.

Haha I was gunna ask $50 for it but since it's quite a drive from ND to Texas that shipping may not be covered Question on the deathflash: When do you get the deathflash since you said you automatically get it since I have an '01?
