Still Waiting, hopefully tomorrow. I will be out of town for a couple weeks and am hoping to play around with it before I leave.

I got beat by a stock 350 Chevy 1500 and I even had on my 91 tune! He slowly pulled away from me and I couldn't believe it. But it might be that I don't have the 180* tstat installed yet so it runs warmer than usual. I only have 31s but I'll be getting 33s soon hopefully.

Well mines an automatic so that might be why. It just wouldn't shift anymore either like it ran outta gears. I'm pretty sure it will had one more to go though.

The stock intake probably "ran out of breath". Install a Mopar M1 or a Hughes FI Air Gap Intake and see how she does

Did he have stock size tires? What gears? 31's will slow you down a little- 33's will slow you down quite a bit more.

Lol its amazing how some of us think that just slapping a tuner on will all of a sudden make our truck the baddest truck in town and will beat everything that pulls up next to us.

There are so many other factors to consider. I like the extra power but its still a 5000 lb pickup truck. Enjoy the power it does give.

Yeah, but, getting rid of the death flash, and torque management on these trucks does make a BIG difference. Granted, you aren't going to doing sub-10 second quarter miles with it.....

Wont argue there. I really enjoy the added power this SCT gives. I have used the Superchips tuner in the past and while it did help as well...the torque management removal has made a big difference between those two.

Other mods can also be made and certainly don't hurt but may lighten your wallet a bit. All depends on what you want.
