ok guys i just bought a 97 lifted sst with 100k orig miles super freakin nice truck i got it very cheap after doing research im hoping its a govenor pressure solenoide? i pulled codes an got a p1757 ''gov press above 3psi in gear with 0 mph'' po740 ''tcc circuit malfunction'' and po783 3-4 shift malfunction..when driving at low rpms or should i say just being easy driving slow its like it dont wanna shift from 3-4 it shifts in an out in an out.but when you get it on it (not to the floor just on it
) it seems to shift threw the gears all right.. any inputs? opions? suggestions ? experience? an yes fluid level is right maybe a lil overfill if anything

ABS light may or may not be related. Do you have 4wal, or just Rwal?
These transmission are notorious for clogging up governor solenoids, and failing shift/tcc solenoids. You could try replacing them with QUALITY aftermarket units (borg warner makes a nice HD governor solenoid, and you can get it paired with a better-than-stock pressure sensor as well, for around 100 bucks on EBay, among other places...) Might wanna adjust the bands while you are in there. (and install a drain plug.
)
Check all connectors and such before spending money though. One member had trans issues, because all the wires at the trans connector were bare, and shorting each other..... check PCM connectors as well.

See if you have wires going to the front hubs. If you do, you have four wheel anti-lock, if you don't, you have rear wheel anti-lock.
ok if i were going to replace the gov. sensor an trans ducer, the tcc solenoide,an the 3-4 shift solenoid whats the best way to go about it the truck has about 10 inch lift so easy to get under...is it strange that all the ''shifting solenoids/sensors'' are faulty at same time..or is one thing pretty much making it throw other codes? but im going to drain an fill trasn with new filter an was wanting to do them solenoides are they all coverd by the trans pan?
also the ''brake'' light is on parking brake works fine but lever dont stay down but is still engaged untill i release it..brakes are hard when trying to stop also
