I'll give that a try, I'll try to strike up a conversation next time I'm in there, I'm still on the learning curve here, I'm new to the world of having a truck to tinker with, it's kind of a love hate thing I'm finding out, but thanks, I always appreciate advice from someone who had been there and done that

I think the manager at the AZ here smokes crack, and hires his crack-smoking buddies to work in the store. I have only encountered ONE that actually had a clue.... (and he soon left, to go to work at Advance....) The folks at advance here know me by name, and since I do so much business with them, I get a standing 10% discount, and if I get REALLY spendy, the manager will give me 15%..... even on sale items. Of course, I have only been going in there for about 15 years......

.

That's why I said that about az... The guy at one has has about two grand in tattoo work done and the guy at the other one here just looks stoned... I think it must just vary by state or area, where I'm at most people go to o'rileys but they don't always have what you need

The key is, look for the guy who's red shirt is the most faded and has the most battery acid spots and stains on it....

Never thought anout that, but that would be a good indicator. Like going to a barber shop - have the guy with the worst haricut do yours..... because you knoe one of the other guy does his!

Before I moved, the AZ manager always gave me freebies - dented packaging or cans from warehouse. Marke with "Not For Sale." I have several 1 pound cans of wheel bearing grease, body putty etc. Going to miss Tom and the guys.
