Crank sensor is just a hall-effect switch, it would work just as well if it were completely submerged.

what confuses me is after it gets going the truck seems to get the power back its like it only takes off slow with no power

have you ever thought about getting a sct tuner ? how bout cleaning throttle body or iac ? if u have a miss fore it could be due to fixing your plenum start over with cap rotor plugs and wires makes sure there gapped proper

shouldn't even notice a difference if it takes off in second. my ram charger takes off in second gear all the time and the only time you know it is in second gear is if take off and then punch it and it downshift to first gear until you let off or hit 60km/h.

this **** has my mind blown I don't know what the hell it is, all plugs are fine, wires are correct location and seated, just severe power loss literally my truck is parked behind a 4 inch curb and when I floor board it it won't go over the curb
