Yeah I'll look around. I just don't like that they are like 20+ more dollars compared to 15" wheels.
You heard correct. 15" steels clear with zero issues except on 00-01 as said. No grinding, no BS. 15" aluminums, I'm not so sure. They may be slightly thicker than steels. Would be a good idea to test fit if you're looking at buying some.

If I were you I'd go with 15" steels. I run pro comp series 52 flat black. The wheels are cheap, the tires are cheap and you get the meaty look of a small rim and a big fat tire. Cost me under $1000 shipped for the whole package. Not to mention you can run them all year round without worry of salt corrosion / leaky tires. Here's how mine looks if it helps you:

How much they stick out:

Keep in mind those are 35x12.5 so your tires will be about an inch narrower.

That's about exactly how i want mine to look. I want them alittle less out of the fender but not much. I still want it to stick out 1-2" because it's illegal for the tires to stick out too far here. I don't think I'll go with 35s cause i don't want to regear it so that's why I'm going with 33s. Where did you get your wheels at?

I got them at Summit. At the time I price matched my tires from 4wheelparts and got "Summit Bucks" which payed for one of my wheels. It seems Summit has their own brand now for 15x8 D-slots, and at $45 each that's dirt cheap:

(they also have "Bart" wheels for the same price)

So does Jegs and Rough Country:

Just a heads up, 4wheelparts is doing their "buy 3 get one free" deal on Pro Comp tires. 33" and 35" A/T's and M/T's. I have the MT's and absolutely love them. Free ship too.

At ~$850 shipped for a brand new set of 33" wheels and tires that is a steal.

Wow man, thanks for all the help. I think I'm going to go with the Summit brand d-slots for 192 shipped for all 4. Then I'll have some extra money to start saving for some tires too. I found the mud terrain tires too that's only 700 shipped.

I tried my 98 Dakota 15x7 aluminum stock rims on my daughters 02 Durango, which came with 16". They fit the rear just fine but hit the calipers on front.

Yea because PA is the car rules **** capital of the U.S.....inspections, emissions, no tires outside of fenders, no window tint, blah blah blah. luckily for me, i live in an area where most cops wont waste their time on stupid things like that. with the state boys tho, its another story
