Default Fog lamp tie in

So my 1996 4x4 slt Laramie edition 1500 has the relay for fog lamps but no fog lamps. I wanted to mount some lights up front and I was wondering where the connection was for the fog lamps. I did see a plug that was unused kind of behind where the license plate would be. Is this the plug for the fog lamps? It has a 3 prong port.

Black connector, two light blue wires, and a black wire. Right smack in the middle of the radiator support.

T you I found it. Do you think I could tie in 4 lights or should I be safe and only do two?

Use the circuit to control relays, run power thru the relays for the lights, can run as many as you want that way.

Sorry I'm usually pretty good with electrical but I'm confused by what you said... Do you mean that if I connect them to the fog light circuit then I don't have to worry about it? I was also wondering what switch in our truck turns on the fog lights? Is it the headlight switch? Thanks

There is a separate switch for the fog lights on the 94-97 trucks. Goes in the dash to the right of the O/D Off button.

Use the stock wiring to control relays. Use the relays to actually supply power to run the lights.

Get the button from the dealer, junkyard, or LMC truck may have 'em as well. The connector for the switch is probably behind the dash there somewhere.
