Default Ball Joint Mystery, Need help ASAP

Replacing ball joints on a 96 ram 1500 5.2 4x4 with a dana 44, I got the replacement ones, the bottom work fine but the upper joints push out of the C when I screw in the bottom call joint, and are not the same as the upper joints that were already in there, They are longer. I have been trying all mmorning to find th proper joints, axle could have been swapped for all I know. I will try and post a picture of the joint. Need help identifying the part.

Some upper ball joints have a built in let's call it extension to them. Once you have it all together they will seat back in right. Can you post a part number for those and a make please.
