i can see both gounds above fire wall and they are connected also the main battery ground is connected from the batt to above the ALT....i was driving down the road in the truck and all was fine...all of the sudden loss of power and i pumped the pedal to get response...nothing though. so i cut it off and it never started back up its a M/T if that helps

 

Have you tried removing the pre-cat O2 sensor, and see if it will start? (not just unplugging it, physically removing it from the exhaust system. Leaves a hole.)
