GM conversion, but, it's at least twice the price. The BW units are the next best thing.

well I got to dig in to the trans today for filter/fluid change and band adjustment. The pan had what looked parts of a snap ring in it, it was pretty beefy. I decided to go ahead with the band adjustment and hold out til summer, the band in the pan will not righten at all its moving while tightening with my fingers all the way in. I haven't tried the front band yet, my long tube headers along with weather that feels like 10 degrees is making it a pain in the ***. The band adjustment screw doesnt have the torx either its just a square maybe 9mm head that i would have to get at with a wrench, is this normal?

Band strut didn't fall out did it? If you can't get it to tighten up, that indicates the band is toast, and it's time for a new one.

no, the strut is still there at least from what I can tell, its not on the ground or in the pan. Guess I'll start ordering parts for rebuild.
