Default New exhaust ideas?

I'm thinking about putting dual cherry bomb extremes and dumping it on my 1996 dodge 1500 5.2 v8. I'm not sure if I should do that or try something else.

Use the search function as well. It will prevent asking a question that has been asked numerous times before. Exhaust opinions are like the proverbial but hole. Everyone has one and theirs sounds the best, but what ultimately matters is your preference and what you want your truckk to sound like.

Whats legal depends on your states laws.
If it's legal to straight pipe it, then do that.
If your area requires a cat, get headers, high flow cat, and no muffler.
If your area requires a muffler get a loud one chamber muffler.

Long tubes, high flow cat, glasspack and dump right under the truck... Loudest you can get with still being legal.

Why does it seem llike all anyone wants to do is make their truck louder??? Loud does not prove anything.

Makes sure that as you age, your hearing gets worse, and then you can't hear your wife/girlfriend complaining that your truck is too loud.....

Loud seems to help people with their compensating process.

Mines too loud as it is now. I had a FM 44 but got rid of it cuz it was too loud. Put a Trush Turbo on and it was fine for a few weeks. Now that its "broke in", its too loud. Gonna put a factory replacement cat back on (gutted now) and see how it is. If still too loud, I'll throw on the quietest muffler I can find.

I must be getting old.
