random start problem

When its cranking but not starting; if you push on the gas does it start or just keep cranking?

P0340 No Cam Signal At PCM

Cam position sensor is toast. (it's under the dist cap, generally referred to as "pickup coil".)

the truck deals week gets bad mpg and ideals rough could that's cause that
