Default 360 swap

I have a 99 1500 with a dead cylinder in my 318 number 8 to be exact. I can get a new motor for 1400 rebuilding it is going to cost 2300 or I can use this 360 I have with a 145,xxx miles. The 360 has all the sensors fly wheel and PCM. Which would be the best bang for a buck. I'm trying to save money in the long run any suggestions on which way to go. If I do the 360 everything I have listed I have with the 360 is that all I need. I have never done a motor swap to a different motor

As long as you have the flexplate and the harmonic balancer for the 360 you are good to go. What year is the 360?

The 360 is out of a 2000. And I have done searching but everyone's swap is always different. It's yes you can use your 318 PCM no you can't, no your sensors will match up, you'll have PCM issues when you swap computers so it makes no since to you the search hen the open end questions are still not answered.

You'll be fine with the pcm. When money affords get an sct tuner or super chips tuner or go to the dealer and let them flash it.

And btw, you'll be fine with all the sensors. But do yourself a favor and replace the plenum, cat and o2's while your doing the swap.

youre going to need to swap the injectors from your 5.2, to the 5.9. the injectors in the 5.9 are ev6 injectors, and your 5.2 has ev1 injectors.

i have a set of ev1s from a 98 5.9 if ya wanna swap em. i need the ev6 injectors for my 2001, 5.9 swap.
