Also, i did the hughes plenum fix while i was rebuilding it, forgot to mention that. The old plenum wasnt bad, i just did it a preventative maintance. Dont know if that makes a difference

My cat wasn't clogged, but it was original and was rattling. Apparently it was moving around, limiting flow.

That may be your issue if your cat is 15 years old like mine was.

Is there a easy way to check the cat on these trucks?

You can do the "tap check." I'm thinking you need a flow detector or something like that at an exhaust shop. I don't remember what it does but it measures the exhaust flow in pre-set limits.

Haha i assume you mean gutting it by "tap check?"
Looks like i got some shops to call tomorrow...

Actually, no. I meant "tap check" by tapping the housing with a hammer to hear if anything is rattling.

The "tap check" is not necessarily a good way to check. I have seen them fuse and clog with no rattle. So the tap may work, bit it may not tell the story either.

Have to see if there is flow or blockage. Remove the upstream O2 sensor and tie it back somewhere. Crank it up and see if that changes anything.

What kind of changes?

It also just growns and does nothing when i floor it going up hill. Im sure its the fuel issue also

If the cat is clogged, removing the upstream O2 sensor will help reduce the backpressure enabling it to run better.

i put a snap on solus pro on it, went to set fuel sync signal, it reved it up to 1000rpm and the distributor bounced between 0 and -2. Took it off, and nothing changed
