Puff of blue smoke indicates valve guide seals going.

Strong exhaust smell I think would indicate a rich condition.

Had the same problem with my 98 after plenum fix. Used tons of techron and the misfire went away after a couple months.

Isnt that for gm products tho? But you think is most likely just an injector issue??

No and no. I think your valves and valve seats in that cylinder are carboned up from when the plenum was blown.

It'll help clean out any crap in the injectors, so yeah.

You might seafoam the engine too if you have replaced your plenum.

I got lucky with my 98. But the fact remains that there is a good chance the head is cracked between the valve seats. The techron will help get rid of the carbon on the valves, so yes , just keep using it and see what happens.
