I was getting a #1 misfire and bad shaking when the torque converter locked up from the misfire.... my issue was a cracked header at the collector. replaced the headers with stainless ebay ones and no more issue...

I'm curious because you didnt mention the horrible shudder these trucks normally have once the torque converter locks up around 45-50 mph if there is a misfire? do you have and automatic transmission?

His point was that with these trucks, with an auto, if there is a misfire, when the trans locks into OD there will be a shudder because of that misfire.

Sorry misunderstood but no studder at all

Gutted the cat tho and straight piped it from the cat back. Sounds nice! No more misfire. Now i just have to find a way to remove 02 sensor and do that trick to get rid of CEL
