Default tv cable adjustment needed?

i just noticed this after replacing a brake line from the front to the back of the truck, when taking off in first gear when it gets ready to shift the rpms go up slightly and the truck very slightly jerks, also when under heavy throttle the it wont downshift, if i floor it it will only reach 2500 rpms and it just feels like something is holding it back any help is greatly appreciated

Did you unplug something on the trans by accident or disconnect a cable and not put it back? Go back over everywhere you pulled, pushed while routing the line.

Check TV cable and make sure you did not disrupt it when running new line. After that, check TV adjustment just to make sure and eliminate it as a possibility.

Found the problem, the plastic clip that connects the tv cable to the tb was complete busted and the tv cable wasn't even connected, do you know where I could get a new one at? I can't find one on any of the auto parts websites

JY probably. Someone else stated in another thread that dealer only has entire cable assembly.

Gled you found it~

I think I'll plan a trip to the junkyard, I want to get some 3/4 ton front calipers and do that mod also

Default Transmission shop

Check with a Transmission Shop
They should have the piece without
having to replace the whole cable.

Is it like a universal kind if piece? I'm thinking I could almost just make something that will attach the cable to the tb
