even with 4.10 gears from an offroad package>? Would they be fine if the truck was a pavement queen?

you might be ok for a while. but ideally, you want 4.56, or 4.88 gears.

mine was a pavement pounder when i had the 35's on, and it still destroyed my transmission, but i have 3.55's

That is true. How do you think that 33's would be with the 4.10s? Mainly pavement, a little offroading here and there but nothing major.

I have 355s also with 35s and i pull a big trailer around. My trans is still holding up. I do change the fluid in it regular. Still waiting for it to blow cause it does struggle going up huge hills pulling 5000lbs. I have seen the trans temp gauge I installed pined afew times. I would recommend regearing. If you got the funds. I would just not in my budget right now. PLUS I got 2500 axles going insoon so I will have to start pricing out gears for them.

I ran 315's for a few month on my offroad. Truck was a complete dog, I went down to 285's with 4.10's and it works good.

if youre running bigger tires then it would be like stock gearing. 4.56 gears for 35's 4.88's for 37s and so on.

if you tow, and run 35s then 4.88s would be a better option to get tq to the ground better.

If my truck was worth it I would run 4.56 with my 33's.
