CEL codes??

Default CEL codes??

Ok so i think i pulled the codes off my 96 ram. But my problem is i have no idea how to figure out what actual codes i have. These are the numbers i got 3,2,4,3,4,5,6. I have no idea how to figure out what codes these are. lol This is my first time pulling codes this way.

never mind got em. codes are P0302, P0403, P0405


edit: where is the egr solenoid at? I didnt know these trucks had one...

The 96 doesn't have one. Makes it difficult to find.....

I figured that after looking around on the truck but why would it throw the code?

These Dodges are pretty good about giving you codes for stuff you don't have. I get one for trans. temp sensor I don't have.

Yea not gonna worry about the egr codes and i have a feeling that the miss is plenum related. Alyhough im going to do plugs, wires and cap/rotor too.

It's interesting that you have a cylinder 2 miss, most are 6, 7, or 8.

I think some early one's might, Needs to be verified.


Edit: Have you read this and tried to get the code's in this manner that is explained pretty well of how to count the flashing CEL ? Just curious.

Yea counted the flashes. And no egr.
