Crawled under the rig today to see what was causing my p0135. Instead I found a wonderful antifreeze leak!
Yes the last one is on my transmission. Where should I start to look for the leak? Cant really see where it would be coming from from below the truck. Thermostat maybe?
Sorry pics are blurry they were taken on my sh!tty phone camera. No I havent only part of the cooling system touched recently was thermostat in january.
Its odd cause its a very very slow drip. Its been parked for 5 days now and the puddle under the spot is *******ly noticeable , about 6"s in diameter..
Have you touched the water pump inlet from the heater core? It's the small hard black line that goes in the top of the water pump on driver side. The oring on that end likes to deteriorate and will weep a tad. It typically will do the weep shortly after shutting down. Hard to see it as looking directly at it looks very clean. Tracing from the bottom is difficult. So you can use a paper towel to wick any fluid from it.
Looks like it is coming from the thermostat. Was peeking in there with a flashlight and looks like theres a slight leak in the gasket. Guess I get to take it apart and put a new one -_-
I will check that o-ring to WK thanks for the tip.
