Ball joints worn out at 80k. Are you kidding!?
1999 1500, 2wd, highway vehicle. They started squeaking a few weeks ago, so I crawl under to grease them and find no grease zirts. This is a joke, right. I'm used to the oilfield, where everything has a zirt on it.
Now I have to pay someone to change them because I'm 3 weeks behind on work at any given time.
Will good quality oem parts from Napa be ok?
In the past 6,000 miles I've lost a water pump, a tensioner, my heater, conked out twice for reasons I still can't determine, and both my trans and a/c are making noises that don't make me feel warm and fuzzy. Ouch!

Wow! OK, I'm not going to start a rant. But here's the deal. My last truck had 183,000 on it when I sold it. Toyota. Original ball joints. Nearly original everything. Maybe I can't afford a Dodge.

Mmmmm, no. Many threads here discuss that Moog quality has been going downhill the last few years.
Spend the extra coin for quality and go with XRF.
And a questions for the OP -- You should have known by now that the ball joints on your truck are non-serviceable; otherwise, this would not be expected. Properly serviced ball-joints will last well beyond 125K miles and are critical suspension components.
