but i want to make 100% sure i have the right parts for this.
he and i agree since its being taken apart replace ALL bearings and such.
2000 dodge ram 1500 4X4 9.25 rear end
i found this kit from jegs. its a complete kit. good price.

That's a complete kit, everything you need, but, doesn't say what brand bearings..... You want Timkins, or National.

i see what your saying, a little search and its made by richmond. summit racing also sells this kit. so i am thinking if jegs and summit racing sells this that richmond is a good product.

edit: or is richmond just the seller of these bearings. made by someone else?

Excellent. That does indeed mean it is a good kit.

If it has a lsd in it I would install new clutch packs and clutch disc retainers, possible side and spider gear change and thrust washers (lsd or not).

Edit; Might as well change the outer axle bearings and seals at this time.
