There is a huge difference in pedal feel from a Dodge to a Chevy, in short yes the Dodge will feel soft to you. Hose linings bits could very well be what you're seeing in the master cyld oil. Q have you reset the pcm since you did any of this work? If not do it, just unhook the neg side of the batt for 10 min.

Yeah, I've unhooked the ground, both, touched them together, turned on the headlights, everytime I did work to it.... Not sure about the ten minute mark but it was more than just thirty seconds or so, a couple at least. I think I'm gonna flush the system somehow and replace the hoses, and call the mechanic if that doesn't fix it.
