That will work, but, is best done with two people, the fluid comes out FAST. Once you have the old fluid purged, hook everything back up, top off reservoir, jack up the front of the truck, start engine, and turn the wheels lock to lock a couple times. Check fluid. If it is frothy, shut off engine, let it sit for half an hour or so, top it off, and repeat.

I've been busy with work but got a few things done.

Engine still starts and runs. Idles a little high but the full tank of gas may or may not be 2+ years old.

New power steering pump, flushed and bled. Alternator was seized which was causing the belt squeal. Engine smokes from a valve cover but its filthy and needs to be degreased before I can tell

Originally I was going to do a swap. Now that the motor runs fine I thought about flipping it for a profit. I want a cummins bad but would have to sell my two 1500s to get there.

Well.. I picked up an aftermarket SRT-10 style hood and the 99-01 front bumper. This thing is starting to look wicked. Like a 2nd gen SRT.. now idk if I want to sell it for a cummins or do something else w it

Got everything mocked up. The engine runs ****ty on the old gas but idk what to do w a full tank. Worse news is that I think its leaking coolant. Will look badass, but what to do w it?

Time for some new headlights methinks. AMAutoparts.com has stockers, complete with side markers, and bulbs, for under a 100 bucks a pair, shipped.

Gonna look nice when you are done.
