Then likely your compressor is toast. Or the clutch is bad.

so is it the compressor and clutch than? since nothing happened by jumping the low side switch

ok thank you not what i wanted to hear but rock auto parts out of madison wi has one for 140.00 brand new

Bypass the high-side switch as well before shelling out the cash for a new compressor.

Verify that the circuit is actually being grounded as well.

Ok, apparently, on the 01, the clutch is powered via a relay, that is controlled by the PCM. Are you actually getting power to the compressor?

Hi all I am Having a similar problem but on mine, the compressor will engage when the low pressure side is bypassed, so my question is where would i find this relay or check it to see if it's bad?

If the compressor runs when you jump the low pressure switch, the relay is fine. You are simply low on refrigerant. (which implies you have a leak somewhere.)

That's What i thought but the compressor runs very quiet when engaged, shouldn't there be some noise if the refrigerant level is low?

my relays are good i have to go buy a test light to see if there is power later today
