Hi i have a 1995 dodge ram 2500 5.9l and it wont start i drove it one day then it sat for maybe a week i changed the coil and the crank sensor and still nothing i think theres a wire off somewere cuzz i dont even here the pump come on when i go to turn it on it just cranks over and over any SUGGESTIONS ive herd the pumop come on maybe twice and then it never did it again im thinkn theres a ground wire off somewere

sounds like maybe the pump went out. try a simple swap of the horn relay with the fuel relay if it still dont kick on, then try hittin the bottle of the tank with a rubber mallet and see if u can get it to unlock.

 

I agree, probably pump. But get a Haynes manual and trace the wires first.

 

+1 on relay. I had almost exact symptoms a few years back, same year of truck and motor and ended up being the relay. Mine started up but ran very very rough so I shut it off and tried to restart it and all it did was crank and crank and crank. Swapped relay and all was fine.

+2 on pump.

Check 'em both.

 

Have you tried pressing down the gas pedal some while trying to crank it? If not, I'd first try holding it down about half way to start. Might help determine if there's a problem with it getting air.
