Default 2001 dodge ram 1500 spacer exchange

Hello, I just put a new spacer on my 2001 dodge ram 1500 4x4 5.9L. I cannot get the truck to go into park, the brake lights do work, I have tried the Neutral Safety Switch, & all the modules.bur, I don't know what the issue is now.

What spacer? You mean a body lift?

Likely just a cable adjustment. Try that first.

May have misaligned the park linkage inside the trans, as I think it engages somewhere in that extension housing...... Was the truck in park while you were changing it?

Grab the 01 service manual from the faq section, check out the transmission stuff, and look at how the park linkage is supposed to work..... Should be able to figger it out from there... but, it probably does mean dropping the t-case and extension housing again...

Sorry man.
