frt brakes last and no more warping!
That's a great idea, I'm adding this to todo list

Funny, I just saw a You Tube video on this just yesterday as I replaced my front rotors and pads yet once again.

new cylinders i think i paid $30 for the pair. USED? i wouldnt install used brake parts!
nice video though.
all the bendix systems can do this. and before it becomes a question, i think any ram 2000 or after has the bosch system. this mod cant be done. so the mentioned trucks are stuck with nose dive or upgrade to rear disc. whats that kit cost? $600! HAHA!

Why won't it fit my "01? Is it the rear ABS that won't like it, or just that the part won't fit?

rear wheel cylinders are already that size. the 00, and up trucks have "upgraded" brakes from the factory.

^BINGO.

It's only and upgrade for 99 and older Rams.

Make sure you always have your rear brakes adjusted properly. I can literally feel in the pedal when the rear brakes aren't adjusted well. I back up at 20mph and slam the brakes two times, all is well in Ram-land again.

Default Update to warping rotors

Ok, I found out a few things rotors that were stuck at least one that I checked. And along with probably not greasing up the guide pins and contact points "enough" Ok, I found out I have to replace the calipers and was researching and was wondering if the cooper washer that's used should be or replaced with a steel metal washer. This is where the brake line is disconnected.

Those copper washers are gaskets. Do NOT use steel. Definitely replace them. (they should come with your new calipers.) May want to replace the rubber lines in front as well. (highly recommended)

are they driving the truck into the water first to launch the boat? the front wheels should never touch water when launching a boat, unless its a very long shallow ramp or if they have rear rotors, then that would make more sense. I barely get the rear tires on my truck wet when putting my 20 footer in the water.
