Default 99 Ram 1500 Trans issue

I have a 1999 Ram 1500 2wd, 5.2L. Earlier this past week my check engine light came on. I had it checked and the code it is pulling is P1763. It indicates that my Governor pressure sensor input was to high. The truck is still running but it accelerates really slow from a stop. Would replacing the pressure sensor and the solenoid take care of this problem?

I'd drop the pan and see what it looks like in there. And I don't think it has anything to do with "accelerates really slow from a stop" . You most likely have other issues, like the plenum maybe.

Thank you the input and advice. I dropped the pan and pulled off the valve body. Replaced the Governor pressure sensor and solenoid. The lockup/O.D. solenoid and wire harness, the 3-4 accumulator spring and speed sensor. Put a new filter in and new pan gasket. Put everything back together and it is running nice and smooth.
