replacing bottom panel on doors
i want to get my new speakers set up but am afraid to do so bc of the rust holes in the bottom panels on the door. it is completely exposed, right now i have duct tape but want to make the doors look new again with new panels maybe. was just wondering if anybody on here has done this repair and how much it cost....and to maybe even post the steps and possibly pictures? Thanks!
Ever done body work before? I have..... and I came to the conclusion that I just suck at it.
I found a couple doors that were in significantly better shape than mine. It was easier than trying to fix mine.

haha so im just better off going to the junk yard?
i'd agree, unless you really good at welding sheet metal you're better off buying whole doors. too much heat and the panels begin to warp , there's also the in inevitable blow thru holes that become a pain.
There's a reason body work is expensive
just sayin' .
But I was lucky enough to have taken a 6 month Body work career course in high school

I like body work and I am a welder. I think I would still swap out the doors with a wrecking yard. Easier to swap parts around and a whole lot cheaper. Just hope you can find the right color.

hey guys thanks for all the replies but im not too worried about the color bc i have painted the entire truck in bed liner so i could just sand em down and paint em for like 14 bucks lol but i think i might go to a junk yard this weekend or maybe check out those websites that zman17 was recommending
