2000 Ram Sport 1500 4x4 HELP!!
I hope the solenoid and sensor swap help you. But, you really need to add the info about your truck to your sig AND profile . Nobody wants to read back in the thread to find info to try and help you, when it should be there to begin with. It just makes it easier for all. Thanks.
I know you don't want to hear this, but once that gov solenoid starts getting clogged, the whole tranny is not too far behind. Installing the Borg Warner upgrade solenoid will help you get some more miles out of the tranny as opposed to installing an oem solenoid though. Start saving regardless.
it's just 1st and 2nd gear that act up. 1st doesn't want too shift and 2nd will just wind out like its in neutral....sucks...but if i rev up 1st over 3000rpm it will actually skip 2nd 60% of the time and then accelerates just fine...
this morning i dropped the pan, changed the filter, switched out pressure sensor solenoid and transducer, put 5 quarts of atf+4 valvoline, and this was a success
she shifts great now. thanks for your thoughts and opinions as to what i should do. the bog warner was twice the size as the stock one haha

Make sure you are level ground with the truck warmed up and tranny in neutral to check the level. Don't forget park brake and/or block the wheels.
