welcome to df.

i'd guess not.
vacuum leaks are a more common cause of a low rpm bog down that clears up under WOT.

a skip/misfire can cause a low rpm shudder that might clear up under WOT.

do you have a check engine light? codes?

post your year in your profile. (user cp) at top left in black bar.

The check engine light is on and i plugged in a reader and the reader said i have a bad or circuit high voltage exhaust sensor....so i figured that was the problem but could that be something else and the vacuum would be causing the bogging?

what year? 94-95 with one O2 sensor or 96+ with 2.
and if 2, which O2 is bad? sensor 1 is front and sensor 2 is rear.

front is critical to engine tuning. rear is not.

it's my lowly opinion that the rear O2 sensor does not figure into the engine tuning, but only monitors the cat, and reports when the cat is not lowing the emissions. which, mine hasn't even noticed that the cat left town about a year ago...

so, i'd guess the O2 is not your primary problem. i'd check for a vac leak by temporarily capping off all the vac ports on the manifold and doing a test drive. caution - with brake booster disconnected you won't have power brakes. if it does any better, then add the vac's back one at a time to find the culprit.

if you're not familar with the plenum problem, go to the sticky threads at the top and read about it. it's both a vac leak and an oil sucking leak. are you losing oil?

Take a look down the throttle body, and see if there is oil pooling in there.
