Currently the SCT is not available for our trucks. It used to be $265 for the tuner and 3 tunes. But the company is coming out with a new version and the x2 version of the tuner is discontinued. The x3 will be out in a few months, but it will be more expensive. Supposedly, though, it will offer more functionality.

I just picked up a superchips 3715 off ebay for $77 shipped. Just search ebay, there are always a few. I get mine in the mail either today or tomorrow. Can't wait to do CPR on this death flash!

They used to be 265...... but, as the old version is now no longer available, the new version is coming out, which is going to be a bit more money. How much more? That, I am unsure.

Ok cool. I've been wanting to get a tunner for my truck for awhile now but it seems before I get the money to do any upgrades the damn thing breaks down and my money goes to that. Right now the truck needs around $1700 of work so I hoping there would be a cheaper way other than a tunner. Thanks guys!

Wow, what's wrong that it's costing $1700? Granted, I've spent a lot on repairs over the years, but never that much at once! You're not going to a dealer I hope.

let me guess... transmission, ball joints, front axle u-joints, front axle seals, cad, steering box, plenum, timing chain and water pump, radiator, heater core, cracked dash, radio and speakers.

haha its sad and embarrassing how much money has been dumped into that truck over the years. The first and last time it was at the dealer was because the heads went out(3k to replace). The transmission and rear end went out along with the right front wheel bearing, ball joints, u-joints, radiator and water pump. Thats all i can remember from the top of my head of what has been replaced but im sure there has been more. Right now it needs a heater core, A/C compressor, my dash/bazel looks like the grand cannon, cup holder, glove box, front track bar, and tires are coming up. There is a grinding sound/feel coming from the front end. I am hoping its another wheel bearing but it can be the front diff. Its funny, the first time i bought something to fix up the truck instead of fixing it was the day i bought a new head unit and speakers, this was also the same day my glove box broke xD

Well, the 3715 tuner does not work. It is VIN unlocked, but requires an update that no longer exists (per the superchips customer support). I am returning it to the seller for a refund. So just an FYI if you plan to buy a 3715 off ebay. It could very well need an update that now doesn't exist. Wish there was an easier/cheaper way to get rid of this death flash.

There's always the 3865 or 3815...both of those are for sale on Summit, so I would wager they still have support...
I found one for sale in my area for $100...
