That's even worse.... I am VERY reluctant to 'cheap out' on STEERING parts...... If you are replacing everything under there, why not upgrade to a better steering system? Rumor has it, the 08.5 crossover steering will pretty much bolt right in. MUCH better system than the Y steering on there now..... maybe something to investigate?

Yeah, I'd suggest 08.5+ steering too and get some quality ball joints and decent shocks (bilsteins if ya got the $)

Nevermind i thought the 08.5 steering was for 98-02 rams, but its just 00-02.
I'd be look at the 98-99 1 ton steering talked about here: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...y-truck-2.html

How about this?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Track-Bar-Tie-Rod-Ends-Joint-RAM-2500-w-4500-LB-Heavy-Duty-models-Steering-Suspe/370773512680?rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D261%26meid%3D573083522720317316%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D1088%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D370773529961%26

I am looking for a fairly cheap set to get it on the road asap.
