So wiring in a switch will bypass the solenoid right?

You want to wire in a switch to control the solenoid. Make sure you get the ground circuit for TCC solenoid.

They do that anyway......

Blown plenum will kill gas mileage as well.

All that's done, plenum, timing set, ported tb, headers and gears were all done when I put the trans in. Along with a sct for good measure. I do need an O2 sensor though, just haven't ordered one. This truck wasn't my main means of transportation till about 3 weeks ago.

What kind of mileage are you getting? What type of driving do you do? How much does your right foot weigh?

O2 sensor will make a big difference to fuel mileage.

If I had to guess ( cause I can't afford to fill up lol) about 8-10 mpgs. I used to get 12 running around and close to 16 highway. I'm spending 75 a week on gas at 3.35 and only going about 150 ish miles. Basically 3/4 a tank instead of about 1/2. I only live 10 miles from work. I've been driving like a gma cause I'm scared ****less this tc problem is gonna roast this new trans.

I need to get an o2 sensor but not knowing if I'm gonna have to sell myself for a tc I just can't right now. I recently got a new job making 5 bucks an hour less and I'm still paying child support from my last jobs salary. I bet the check cost more than what they pay me each week lol.

I know how that is. Never enough time or money.

Mitsubishi Electric and Electrolux are hiring. I think Nucor is also.
