Who rebuilt the trans, and how long ago? Still under warranty? If it is, take it to them, have them fix it.

It was rebuilt about about 2 years ago, unfortunately it's not under warranty anymore. He did say he'd look at it and tell me exactly what was going on but I'd have to drop it off and he's 1.5 hours from me. I'm gonna order a new solenoid cause now the code keeps popping up everything I clear it and its not locking up at all. It shifts nice and firm like it has since the rebuild just no lockup. Like I said I've had this problem once before and the fluid and filter change cleared it up so I hope that solenoid is just gummed up and a new one will fix it. If not I'm gonna pray it holds together for about 500 more miles till I can afford a tc. To add insult to injury I got a call last night and the old lady's jeep has started the ole death wobble. When it rains it pours lol.

You can get the TCC and O/D solenoids as a set for under a 100, I think. Replace them both, see if that doesn't improve its attitude. While you have it apart, take a close look at the harness inside the trans. Sometimes wires get chafed, and you end up with strange problems.

Yeah I found both for 60 bucks. I'm just hoping that fixes it. I actually had one out of my girls jeep but I can't find it. I had replaced all the sensors in it to find out it was the tcm the whole time. And it's not like me to throw parts away like that, for this reason.

So I've been looking around and I've got a few choices to make. I'm running a 7" lift with 35's and 4.88's. I don't tow all that much maybe a trailer with some scrap or my other truck. Prolly never more than 5-5500k. How would a 2200-2500 stall be in my truck?

Default Stall speed

So I posted this in my last thread but figured I'd ask in a seperate one. I'm running 35's with 4.88's and have headers, 50mm tb, and an sct. One of these days I'll build the motor a little but that's not in the near future. I tow every now and then but never more than 5k, I also play in the mud when I can afford the gas lol. That being said, how would my truck be with a 22-2500 stall?

Way too high. You want 1400-1800. Maybe even lower. It isn't a high rpm motor. All your power is down low. Get a converter to match.
