That's a pretty normal temp for it being 95 degrees out. I'd still install a n aftermarket cooler if you tow. Do a search on here and you'll find lots of info on coolers.

I've got a cooler in front of the condenser, and it's not ran through the radiator. Out of the cooler I was getting about 172 degrees. Then it warmed to 190 by the time it got to the trans.

Get a bigger better cooler. And it should run through the radiator for the colder months.

I said 30-40% but its more like 25, and measured my tires out on the truck and the backs which are pretty worn on measure 32 7/8 which is a whole nother wtf but according to Randy's ring and pinion calculator my speed and rpms are about right. But I'm doing like 4-5 mph different according to my gps.

Are the plate trans coolers any better than the tube ones?

What brand and all that? I'm sure other members with experience on trans coolers would like to know. And if you have not removed the check valve, that is one more thing you should do, along with adding a trans temp gauge to the right location, so you can monitor it. Rather important if you plow or tow.

This cooler This cooler
is the last cooler you'll ever need, although if you live where it gets really cold, you might want to get the model with the thermal bypass.
