I definitely need some help lol. I'm trying to get a list of parts to order but I don't know what I need and don't have the spare cash to guess. I've already got the tcc code, and now this jarring, I'm just trying to figure out if its electrical or mechanical. Electrical would be cheapest but that's not my luck.

Don't order anything yet. Verify the failure point first. THEN just get what you need.

Try clipping the ground wire for the TCC solenoid. Should be orange wire with black trace. (pin 5 on the trans connector.)

So an update, I had messed with the tv cable before right. Well yesterday I was bored and I tightened up some. Shifts a bit harder and later. Around 1800 to 2nd, 2400 to 3rd and so on, this is light throttle as well. And I don't have the jerk anymore. Maybe the cable was too loose causing it to downshift late? If I clip that wire, what am I looking for?

Clipping the wire will disable TCC altogether. If your problem goes away, then there is the problem.... now, whether it is the solenoid, or the torque converter becomes the next question.

But, if adjusting your TV cable has reduced/eliminated the problem, let it go at that.

It seems to have gone away for now. Now I just have to figure out if its a solenoid or or tc itself that's causing my original problem. Me tightening up the tv cable will have no ill effects will it?

It makes your trans think that you're on the throttle harder.
How much did you move it? It's only recommended that you move ti back in 1/8" increments..

That's prolly about how much I moved it. The line pressures turned up in it and a few things I don't know the builder did to it to shift former. I love the way it's shifting now just don't wanna mess it up.

On a side note, I borrowed an infrared thermometer thing from work and where the lines come out of the trans I'm reading between 180-190. Right about 200 on the pan. That seems really high to me. It's about 95 here and that's after a 30 ish minute drive
