as all ways my friends here have some great ideas. it has been many years since i ha done a swap. but theses ideas come to mind. heater hose seizes, bolt sizes like on motor mounts. the older 318 to 360 swap had a flex plate diff. and left mount diff. oil pan rear arch. but all this is early info, not magnum style.

Thanks for providing the additional information as to what you've done to the motor already - Just wish you could have found a 5.9 to swap instead of the 5.2 - what part of the country are you in? - they are fairly easy to find here in junkyards and wrecked vehicles..

I'm not sure what year, it may have been 95 but they changed the torque converters and flex plates. I believe the 360's until that point were weighted on the tc since they're not internally balanced like the 318's. so I'm not sure if your tc will work on that motor.

I live in colorado and there are a few used motors around for sale at the junkyards but they want $800-$1100 with over 150,000 miles and this one has less than 100,000 and was pulled and stored inside a building ! I was gonna buy a good 5.9 but lost my job 3 weeks ago so that money went towards bills !

Procedure is in the service manual. Basically, all you do is line up a bunch of marks and parts..... easy on an engine stand, pain in the keester in the truck.
