No spark AND no fuel indicates ASD problem. Swap the ASD relay, and the horn relay. See if that makes a difference.

Bear in mind, you will only have power at the coil and injectors for about three seconds (while fuel pump is priming) if the PCM doesn't see the engine turning.

Check all ground wires also. 2 by PS pump and 2 on firewall by passenger side head/pcm.

See if you are getting power to the coil/injectors before bypassing anything.

Wiring diagrams are in the service manual, that are downloadable in the FAQ/DIY section here. (service manual thread)

For a 96, a Haynes manual is very helpful also.

Different manufacturers, and difference between auto/manual trans, and probably number of cylinders as well. (V-10 is gonna be different)

Get Standard Motor Products, Delphi, or from the dealer. Anything else may just leave ya hangin'. If you can, bring in your old one, and compare to the new one.... make sure you get the right one, the first time.

+1 on getting a standard motor products or delphi sensor, dont go napa or similar brands thry suck. Also def a good idea to bring in the sensor , no point in multiple trips lol
