These are the clamps I used in this kit, the small black ones that that use an 7.5mm or slotted screwdriver. https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/...rm=hose+clamps

Reviews aren't the best on those....... Not sure I would trust them. Rather spend a few more bucks on some good FI clamps, and not have to worry about burning down my truck.

I bought a small set of those for my vacuum lines on the 2nd gen 4x4 actuator... they were pretty lightweight and weak - went out of shape quickly. Agree with HeyYou, get some heavier ones for your fuel lines.

This design looks pretty heavy, not sure what size you'd need ....

The ones I used in that kit are for fuel injection hoses, like I said I have not had any issues at all even with the hose, make sure you match the id of the hose to the id of the plastic tube

Thanks for the replies guys.....
I bought some from O'Reilly's. Advanced was out.
Got 5/16" Fuel injection lines, and fuel injection clamps. Was told by Hughes that they use the "old school" European clamps. They have rolled edges so the clamp actually clamps without cutting into the line...
These here.....5/16" fuel line
And clamps....Clamps
Probably could have got the 1/4" size to go on the barbs as well... but wasnt sure if the smaller I.D. might not allow enough flow...
Not sure if I trust them but we'll see...
Thanks again....

Sorry about the OT but I've been wondering about an easy swap to OBD2 for years... Is there any chance having a 95 with manual gets me around the problem and a newer 5 speed pcm could be adapted without throwing codes? What would be needed to do a conversion...wiring harness and computer from a 96 with 5 speed?

You need to get the Engine and tranny Wiring harness, dash Wiring harness and computer from either a 96 or 97 truck (which is cheaper) or send your harness out to Performance Injection Equipment and have them convert it to OBD2 and send you that back with a computer but don't recommend that as it is to expensive, it's $2000 to have them do it. I bought a complete Wiring harness front to rear including the dash and computer from a guy in Connecticut for $335

Not sure you actually need the dash harness, should be able to just repin some of the connectors to include what is already there. There really wasn't that much difference between the 95 and 96-97 interior harness in any event. Not sure which would be easier though.
