Currently have the F1 airgap, 50 mm throttle body, k&n intake...you can def hear the thing sucking in air, noticed an improvement in throttle response and mid range power. Just installed the airgap a week ago.

FI Airgap, 52mm Holley TB, K&N CAI on my rig.

Yes, I have the K&N CAI, but all that is really needed is a low restriction filter element (that still filters).
The K&N might have given ¼mpg gain, but there was a small but notable improvement in acceleration.

The TB and FI Airgap (as noted by others, and as I've noted in other threads) lost a little bottom end, but by 1600 rpm it starts coming to life, and over 2000rpm you're getting what you paid for.

Also as noted by others, to get the most out of intake mods, you need the exhaust mods to go with it (to let the gasses out).

I didn't know they didn't make the M1 any more. I still have one I got a year ago and it's not on my truck. I think I just may have to sale it. I need low end power when pushing snow

If you decide to sell it, drop me a PM. I would be interested in that.

I guess my next big performace booster will have to be one of the 2 intake systems. The link merc posted, could I buy one of those 50mm throttle bodies and see any gains without getting one of those systems?

Or should I shoot for a 52mm if I can get one for my 5.2?

The 50mm is what you want for a 5.2, plain and simple. I have it on my 5.9,(I'd rather have low end) The throttle response is unreal.

Alright, sweet. I'll get that before I get a whole intake setup then. More power is always good. After everything I got done now, I still don't have too much power in my opinion.

But I wanna regear to 4.56s someday too.. So that'll help.

Well my current truck also has 4:10's at least. But the 50mm fastman came off my 98 that had 3:55's , even that truck woke up with the fastman tb.
