Update After my last fowled attempt to get it started I let it set for about an hour ( I thought maybe I had flooded it from all the gas "stomping"). It took 3 attempts and about 45 seconds to get it started, but it fired up. It high idled right above 2k until I put it in reverse and drove it around the block. It drove fine and didn't jump or jolt or do anything silly while I was driving. I let it sit for 15 mins and it fired right up. Let it sit for 5 mins and it fired right up. So I am going to let it sit for a few hours before I try again and see if it will start. Frustrating, but I am thankful for all of the great advice and suggestions on this page. I do have to replace my timing chain gasket, because I noticed underneath a leak where the seal had pushed out. Last thing I thing I need help with right now... For a few months now, whenever I put my truck into 4hi/low it engages and has lots of power. But when I put it back into 2wd, the light doesn't turn off and sometimes make the truck act like it is still in 4 hi until I turn it off. But when I turn it back on it drives normal and doesn't act up and I have driven it long distances with the light on. Any advice on how to get the sensor to work to tell the truck to turn off the 4wd light or not act like it is still in 4wd? Thank you very much everyone!

CAD is all vacuum controlled. Wonder if you don't have a leaky line there somewhere.

Well here we go again. I made a cherry mistake of not starting my truck the next day. Now 2 days later I went to run it and it wouldn't start. I checked fuel and spark and those are both good. It just turns and turns and turns. But not getting something to fire. The plugs are not wet and I changed the oil. Well I'm stumped.

Have you ever cleaned your IAC? How's the connections to your battery terminals lookin? Trying cleaning both of those up and see how it goes.

I cleaned the iac twice during the process of fixing it the first time. My battery posts are clean, I also cleaned those. It just turns over. It's like it isn't igniting or combusting or getting fuel. I don't know. But my fuel is still good according to what I've been told and learned.
